With over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, I founded Folk & Kin Hospitality with a clear mission: to empower Black and Brown restaurant owners through culturally conscious consulting that honors heritage while delivering real business results.

My journey began as a teenager working in local restaurants, where I developed a deep passion for service, community, and the stories behind every dish. With a degree in Business Administration and hands-on experience across operations, training, and guest experience, I recognized a gap in consulting—one that understands the cultural nuances and unique challenges faced by minority-owned establishments.

Folk & Kin is my way of bridging that gap. As a one-woman consulting practice, I'm committed to preserving cultural food traditions while helping restaurant owners implement modern strategies that lead to sustainable growth, operational excellence, and meaningful community impact.
